MaCE LDR

The Matrix and Complex Environment (MaCE) Leadership Diagnostic Report (LDR) is the result of several years extensive research and practice working with our multi-national clients to discover the beliefs, behaviours, knowledge and skills that are critical for effective leadership in matrix and complex structured organisations.

Working in partnership with our clients to test, refine and prove the MaCE LDR’s value and effectiveness.  We identified 7 key Capability Areas that can be developed individually (through self-directed learning or with the support of a Manager, Coach or Mentor); collectively (via Leadership, Management or Talent development programs); or used in Development Centre contexts to support creating tailored develop plans.

The MaCE LDR provides people with a range of practical tools, tips and techniques that are specifically targeted to help increase their own personal ability to lead and engage others when working in dynamic, cross-relational operating structures or roles that contain high levels of complexity and ambiguity; typically such as those found in ‘Matrixed’ organisations or Project, Process, Support Service, Cross-Functional, Business Partner, Specialist Advisor or Change Agent types of leadership roles.

The MaCE LDR has proven so successful that many of our clients now use it to design their own learning interventions based on the information the MaCE LDR’s generate.  Some have gone further, incorporating collective data from individual reports into their balanced scorecards, in order to make a direct link between business area results and specific matrix related training.

We initially use the MaCE LDR to help our clients identify the type of matrix specific training that will operationally generate the quickest return on their training investment for any given target audience.  And we can measure the value of that investment, against the actual personal development that has taken place, through a process of re-administering the MaCE LDR questionnaire to the same target audience at regular intervals after learning and development interventions have taken place.

Do your current learning and development providers offer you that level of measurement?
