The Ambiguity Management Instrument ™

The Ambiguity Management Instrument (AMI) ™ provides a unique insight into the problem solving aspects of our Personality DNA ®. 

Personality DNA ® derives from our five LEAD Influencer ® preferences which makes us psychologically similar - but behaviourally quite different - in how we prefer to manage ambiguity at work.

The sense-making tool The AMI ™ uses to explain how you can solve ambiguous work problems is called The Ambiguity Handling Agenda ^©.  This practical Agenda will help you to:

• Understand how your own Personality DNA ® influences your ability to manage ambiguity

• Recognise the different approaches people use to manage ambiguity in the workplace 

• Learn how to help yourself and your co-workers to handle ambiguous work problems by Causing Clarity and Creating Control

The AMI ™ workbook can be used as an independent resource to gain awareness about your own ambiguity management preferences - or as a tool to help raise that awareness in others.

The AMI ™ and its Questionnaire are available in both Digital and Paper-based booklet formats.

The Questionnaire for the Digital version of The AMI ™ workbook is completed online and a bespoke AMI ™ in a .pdf format is created and emailed either to the Purchaser of an AMI ™ from our Store - or to the Facilitator (i.e. the Trainer, Coach, Consultant, Manager or Mentor) who sent someone a link to the Questionnaire because they are taking part in an Individual or Group based learning event.

The Questionnaire for the Paper-based version of The AMI ™ workbook can either be completed and scored during a learning event - or it can be completed and scored online prior to a learning event and the scores given to Participants during a learning event by their Facilitator.

The AMI ™ Facilitator Guidebook, together with its accompanying PowerPoint presentation, contains all the information a Facilitator needs to successfully deliver the unique ½ day Ambiguity Management Workshop - using The AMI ™ workbook in either a Digital or Paper-based format.
